The Lundquist College of Business and the University of Oregon are committed to cultivating a safe, supportive, and nonviolent learning environment, and campus safety is our top priority. During your first days in a new building and classrooms, seek out evacuation maps, safety equipment locations, and understand your path to safety in case of emergency.
What should you do in case of an emergency?
The top 3 things that you can do for your safety if an incident occurs:
- Assess the situation. Know where the fire exits, stairways, and assembly areas are for the buildings where you study, work, or visit.
- Act promptly, if necessary, to ensure your safety. Trust and use your intuition.
- Notify appropriate emergency personnel. Call 9-1-1 for immediate life-threatening emergencies and 541-346-2919 for non-life-threatening issues.
