Dick Eaton is the founder and chief energizing officer of Leapfrog Innovations. He is a team and leadership development consultant, executive leadership coach, entrepreneur, and angel investor.
His executive coaching is dedicated to building leadership capacity, accessing untapped potential, and building new capacities that help clients make powerful change happen. Eaton’s belief is that if clients aren’t broken then they don’t need fixing. Through coaching, clients leverage their inherent strengths, innovate; shift limiting beliefs, blind spots, and behaviors; and develop results-focused action plans that activate their own growth and development and that of their organization.
In addition to coaching Leapfrog and Oregon Executive MBA clients, Eaton serves as an executive, leadership, and team coach for MIT Sloan Executive Education and FMG Leading. He also serves as an alumni faculty mentor for the MiddCORE entrepreneurial leadership immersion program at Middlebury College.
Eaton is certified in the Wisdom Leading™ coaching process, 90-Day Compass Performance Coaching™, Leadership Insights 360, and the FMG Team Insights assessment. With individual and team clients, he regularly uses the Enneagram, FIRO-B, and DISC personality typing instruments.
In addition to his 22 years leading Leapfrog Innovations, Eaton's career experience includes sales management with Procter & Gamble, and account management with Mintz + Hoke and Cabot Advertising. He also served as director of marketing on the founding team of Staples, The Office Superstore.
Outside of work, Eaton plays just about any sport involving a ball or a disc, practices yoga and Reiki, and is an avid painter, showing independently and in group shows. Much of his community service work is focused through Rotary International. His pro bono executive coaching clients include Big Brothers Big Sisters, Habitat for Humanity, and Self Enhancement, Inc.
