2. UO Graduate Admission Application with non-refundable $70.00 (U.S. applicants) or $90.00 (international applicants) application fee
The UO Graduate application requires a different login and password from the departmental application.
The major to select is: General Business - Oregon MBA.
Applicants will be required to pay the non-refundable application fee at the time the UO Graduate Admission Online Application is submitted. If you decide to apply to a different year or start term that is outside of the current academic year, you will need to create a new username and pay the non-refundable application fee again.

3. Two (2) Professional Recommendations (register via Oregon MBA Departmental Application)
After you register your recommenders online via the departmental application, your recommenders will automatically receive an email invitation from the application system. The email will include instructions on how to submit a recommendation on your behalf.
You can submit your departmental application BEFORE your recommendations have been received.
4. Up-to-date Professional Resume (upload via Oregon MBA Departmental Application)
Work Experience. We would like to see at least 2 years post-bachelor/professional work experience. The typical class average for work experience is 3.5 years. 5. Statement of Purpose (upload via Oregon MBA Departmental Application)
In your statement of purpose (750 word limit), please address the following: Why are you seeking an MBA and in particular, from the University of Oregon and in the curricular specialization you have selected? How will the Oregon MBA support both your short- and long-term career goals, and how will you, in turn, uniquely contribute to the Oregon MBA community? (PDFs strongly preferred.)
6. Transcripts (two part process)
- Upload unofficial copy of ALL college-level transcripts to Oregon MBA Departmental Application.
- Submit official transcripts from all colleges or universities where you received a bachelor’s degree or higher, to the Office of Admissions, as detailed by the UO Graduate School website.

Official Electronic Transcripts: Official electronic transcripts should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Degree in Progress: If you have not yet finished your degree at the time of application, you will still need to submit your in-progress "unofficial" transcript via the MBA online departmental application. However, you do NOT need to send your official (in-progress) transcript to the Office of Admissions until AFTER your degree is conferred and the degree and award date are printed on the transcript.
Degree Certificate: If your degree and degree award date are not posted on the transcript, as is the case with most international transcripts, you will need to include the related degree certificate with your transcript.

7. GMAT or GRE Score Report (upload via Oregon MBA Departmental Application)
All applicants are required to take the GMAT or GRE exam, as we do not offer conditional admission. In the case of multiple GMAT or GRE scores, we consider the highest overall score. As long as you include copies of your GMAT or GRE score reports in your departmental application, you may hold off on submitting the official scores until after the admissions decision.
Submitting Official GMAT Scores: You can submit your official GMAT score report by selecting the GMAT Business School program name Charles H. Lundquist College of Business – MBA Program (code = KSQ-5N-27).
Submitting Official GRE Scores: You can submit your official GRE score report by using the GRE Institutional Code for the University of Oregon (4846) and the GRE Departmental code for Business Administration and Management (4201).
Please allow up to four weeks for official scores to be received.
GMAT and GRE scores are valid only for five (5) years after the test date. We must receive the official score report before the test expires.
8. Language Competency (upload via Oregon MBA Departmental Application)
Applicants whose native language is not English must show proof of language proficiency by submitting one of the following: Official TOEFL or IELTS academic score report. The score report is valid for 2 years only.
LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (conditional admission is NOT offered):
- IBT TOEFL Minimum = 96
- PBT TOEFL Minimum = 600
- IELTS Minimum = 7.5
Submitting Official ETS TOEFL Language Scores:
- ETS must send a TOEFL score report to the University of Oregon, Institutional Code: 4846
IT CAN TAKE UP TO 30 DAYS FROM THE TIME OF YOUR REQUEST FOR OFFICIAL ETS SCORES TO BE AVAILABLE IN THE UO SYSTEM. PLAN YOUR REQUEST SO THAT ETS SCORES ARE AVAILABLE PRIOR TO APPLICATION DEADLINES.
Exemption: Applicants who submit transcripts proving that they have received a bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited U.S. institution or from Australia, Canada (excluding Quebec), Ireland, New Zealand, or the United Kingdom are exempt from the language proficiency requirement. If you are currently working on one of these degrees, then you will be conditionally exempt from the requirement pending completion of your degree prior to the start of your first term with the graduate program you are applying to.
