Graduate Employment Opportunities (GEs)
GEs involve teaching or administrative tasks and are offered by various departments and units across campus. GEs carry a tuition waiver and are paid a stipend. The amount of the stipend awarded is dependent on the number of hours worked per week (8-20 hours). All qualified applicants are considered, regardless of citizenship. Individual qualifications are determined by the hiring department or unit.
A very limited number of administrative GEs are awarded by the Graduate Programs Office at the Lundquist College of Business to two-year MBA candidates at the time of admission. Though awarded at the time of admission, these limited positions are fulfilled in the second year of the candidate’s program.
Graduate Programs Office GEs will be awarded based on the MBA candidate’s work experience, as it relates to the following program needs; recruitment, admission, advising, and office management. GEs awarded by the Graduate Programs Office will be filled by the most qualified candidates on a first come, first serve basis.
