Housing
UO Housing offers graduate students a range of options, including family housing. Many MSF students choose to live off campus in one of the many privately owned (non-university) houses and apartments available each year in Eugene.
Life in Eugene, Oregon
Eugene is located west of the Cascade mountains about 100 miles directly south of Portland and about one hour east of the Pacific Ocean. Recreational opportunities abound—it's one of the top cities in the U.S. for biking, and one of the highest-rated green cities in the country.
Speak to a Student Ambassador
One of the best ways to learn about the University of Oregon community is to talk with current students. Our volunteer student ambassadors are current students focused on earning their degree and giving back to the community. They are available to answer questions you may have about their degree programs, chosen specializations, student clubs, moving to the area, life on campus, experiential learning, the Duck network, and much more. We invite you to reach out to an ambassador today by reviewing their profile and sending them a message.
