Gain the business fundamentals you need to boost your career potential in just 10 months.

Designed for students with non-business undergraduate degrees, the University of Oregon’s Master of Science in Management (MSM) program builds on students’ undergraduate education and equips them with marketable skills and applied experiences designed to accelerate professional growth. Students completing the MSM would also be eligible for the accelerated option in the Oregon MBA program, allowing them to earn an MBA in one year after they have gained some work experience.

Applications are evaluated holistically. This includes the essay, recommendation letter, and experience—not merely test scores and grades.

Curriculum and Courses

The MSM curriculum totals a minimum of 45 credits (30 credits of core courses and 15 credits of electives). Students take these courses side-by-side with first-year students in the Oregon MBA program. As part of a capstone project in year one, MSM students will work on real-world projects sourced from industry and alumni.
