Master of Accounting Hands-On Learning

Through direct experience and collaboration with industry, students become grounded in the skills and techniques needed to engage their careers from the outset.

First-Year MAcc Orientations

The MAcc program holds two orientations for incoming students. During these orientations, you'll learn about what's expected of you as a MAcc student and meet your new cohort. Orientation is the kickoff point for the repeated cycles of reaching, discovering, and achieving that define the Master of Accounting program.

Student Organizations

Students at both the graduate and undergraduate levels are encouraged to participate in student organizations as a vital component of the college experience. There are more than 15 clubs affiliated with the Lundquist College of Business, and many other organizations and affinity groups in operation at the university as a whole.

MAcc students are encouraged to join the UO chapter of Beta Alpha Psi, the national scholastic and professional accounting fraternity. Due to the dedication of our members, our chapter is currently distinguished as a superior chapter, a recognition awarded by the national Beta Alpha Psi organization. The UO chapter meets each week and is a valuable resource to learn about recent trends in the accounting profession, to network with professionals, and to build friendships with other students.

Faculty Engagement

Collegiality and mutual support are critical for each student to get the most out of the MAcc program. We encourage this through intensive team building and an open-door atmosphere, encouraging close interaction with faculty members.
