Master of Accounting Career Development

The Lundquist College of Business adopts a highly collaborative and student-centered approach to supporting student career success through career exploration, job search strategy, professional skills development, and portfolio-building.

Nearly 100 percent of our domestic graduates and 70 percent of international graduates are typically placed by commencement in international, regional, and local accounting firms, as well private companies and government agencies.

The Lundquist College has its own in-house career services team, Mohr Career Services. Located prominently on the first floor of the Lillis Business Complex, Mohr Career Services offers career advising, workshops, connections, and more to all Lundquist College students.

MAcc students are required to begin to work with the career services team during the summer before the program begins to refine resumes and prepare for interviews which typically begin shortly after classes start.

Accounting Circle Alumni Network

The Accounting Circle, established in 1997, is comprised of more than 170 business leaders who support excellence in accounting education at the Lundquist College of Business. The Circle is the School of Accounting's strongest link to the accounting business community.

These key advisors provide valuable guidance and recommendations on key issues such as growth, curriculum, student programs, technology, and development. In addition to serving as Accounting Circle members, these busy executives find time to volunteer as guest speakers in the classroom and regularly attend School of Accounting recruiting and networking events, making themselves available to students and faculty.
