Global Study Trip

Because business crosses borders, we expect our MBAs to do the same. This is why an international experience is a required step toward earning a degree. In their second year, students will travel abroad to visit companies, meet with executives and industry leaders, and learn the intricacies of doing business in a global environment while extending their skills by applying them in new contexts. Past trips have included destinations such as Iceland, Ireland, Estonia, Spain, Portugal, Hungary, The Netherlands, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, and Singapore.

The Capstone Project completes the Oregon Executive MBA coursework. Students individually develop, research, and analyze a new business opportunity for themselves or their organization in an integrative, hands-on learning experience that can take the form of a business plan or a feasibility study. The Capstone Project covers both strategy formulation and strategic implementation issues and serves as an important return on investment opportunity.
