MS Management Requirements and Courses

The MSM is a full-time, in-person program that runs for one academic year (10 months), beginning in fall. 

The MSM curriculum totals a minimum of 45 credits, consisting of ten core courses, including a professional development course, and five elective courses.  

Upon completion and after gaining two years of work experience, students will be eligible for UO's Accelerated MBA program.

GMAC Prep Course 

Incoming MS in Management students must complete the GMAC Business Fundamentals courses in Accounting, Finance, and Statistics prior to the start of the program. These modules are free and will be available to students to work on once they have submitted their advanced tuition deposit. These modules are self-paced and developed by GMAC (makers of the GMAT) in partnership with Kaplan. The purpose is to equip incoming MSM students with essential quantitative and analytical skills in accounting, finance, and statistics.
