Sports Product Management Scholarships and Funding

Upon application, candidates may be considered for scholarships. Scholarships may be based on academic, professional, and or need-based collected from the Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships. Financial aid comes from a variety of sources, including the Lundquist College of Business, federal government, and public and private sources, and can come in the form of scholarships, loans, federal work-study and university fellowships.

Scholarships

Criteria
Scholarships awarded are merit-based or financial needs-based.

Eligibility
Students must be fully admitted to the Sports Product Management program and decisions may be made at the time of admission.

Application Needed
A separate scholarship application is not needed. Scholarship awards are based on information being provided on the admissions application at the time of admission.

Awarded by
All scholarships are awarded by the admissions office at the Lundquist College of Business.

Amount
Scholarship amounts vary and will be communicated at the time of admission.

Federal Loans and Work Study

Criteria
Federal loans and work studies are based on need.

Eligibility
Only first- and second-year domestic and permanent resident students are eligible.

Application Needed
Yes, through FAFSA—apply on the FAFSA website.

UO Office of Financial Aid

Amount
A maximum amount of $20,500 can be awarded. Work study amounts vary.


Private Lender Loans

Contact Sallie Mae for a private loan if you are:

  • an international applicant with a U.S. citizen or resident cosigner
  • a domestic applicant who has exhausted the maximum eligibility for federal loans

International Student Scholarships

Both need- and merit-based scholarships specifically for non-U.S. students are available through the UO Office of International Affairs.
