Sports Product Management Application Process

After a completed application is submitted, it will be reviewed by the Sports Product Management admissions team. Candidates who present a strong application will be contacted to schedule an interview. All interviews will be completed via Zoom/video conference.

An admission decision will be provided via email approximately one month after the deadline in which an applicant applies. If an applicant is offered admission, a $1,500 non-refundable deposit is required to hold a spot in the cohort. Typically, an applicant must accept within three to four weeks of an offer of admission.

Upon accepting an offer of admission, formal enrollment to the UO Graduate School takes up to an additional six weeks. Additional steps include providing official transcripts to the Graduate School for verification and proof of immunization prior to registration fall term. Additional information will be provided to admitted students.

A completed application consists of:

  9. Optional Scholarship Section

The information you provide in this section of this application is for scholarships and will not affect your application for admissions. Answering the question below maximizes your consideration for scholarships awarded by the Sports Product Management program. It is important to note that scholarships can be awarded by the program after each round of admissions; however, it is advantageous for prospective students to apply early for ongoing scholarship consideration. If you do not complete the scholarship question before submission, you will not be able to return at a later time.

The University of Oregon extends scholarships for graduate and law students seeking for financial aid. For detailed information, please consult their website. Keep in mind that scholarship applications must be submitted prior to March 1, and students are required to have a submitted admission application by February 15.

Optional scholarship question: In what way do you envision creating a positive impact in the sports and outdoor product industry, and how would the receipt of this scholarship contribute to your journey towards achieving that aspiration?

Your financial need level can be considered when we make scholarship selections. University of Oregon encourages students to submit FAFSA, ORSAA, or Statement of Financial Need paperwork by the application deadline.

    • FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is an online application for students who are U.S. citizens, Legal Permanent Residents (LPRs), or other eligible non-citizens.
    • ORSAA (Oregon Student Aid Application) is an alternative to FAFSA for Dreamer students, including students who have Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) status or Temporary Protected Status (TPS), as well as other undocumented students.
    • The Statement of Financial Need is a form for international students with a valid student visa and can be emailed directly to the UO Division of Global Engagement.
