Each year, UO Sports Product Management students take their learning global. In Asia, they step inside manufacturing facilities in Vietnam to experience footwear and apparel production firsthand, then travel to Japan to explore product, retail, consumers, and culture. The experience is intentionally part of SPM's broader global learning journey.
During this fireside chat-style info session, a panel of current students will share:
- What it's really like to step onto a factory floor in Vietnam
- What surprised them about how global sports products are made
- How the experience changed their understanding of the industry and their future careers
