When and how will my scholarships be paid out?

Your Lundquist College scholarships will be paid out in three equal installments over fall, winter, and spring terms. Funds will appear in your UO student account. If you do not see your Lundquist College scholarship amount by week two of the term, please reach out to Kelly Zimmerman for undergraduate scholarships or Connor Williamson for accounting scholarships.
 

I am looking over my financial aid package and do not see my Lundquist Scholarship as part of it. Where is it?

Your Lundquist College scholarship is separate from your financial aid package, so you will not see it there. Your funds will appear in your UO student account at the beginning of fall, winter, and spring terms. If you do not see your Lundquist College scholarship amount by week two of the term, please reach out to Kelly Zimmerman for undergraduate scholarships or Connor Williamson for accounting scholarships.
 

Is it possible to change the disbursement cycle?

In certain limited cases, we may be able to grant off-cycle payment of your scholarship award. If you need to take a leave of absence or will be graduating early, for example, please email Kelly Zimmerman for undergraduate scholarships or Connor Williamson for accounting scholarships to see if you are eligible.
 

I will be studying abroad for part of the year. Will I still receive my scholarship?

As long as you are enrolled in a UO study abroad program, your scholarship will be disbursed as planned.
 

I will be changing majors. Am I still eligible for the scholarship?

Lundquist College Scholarships are for business and accounting majors only. As soon as you know you will be changing majors, we encourage you to reach out to the department of your new major and familiarize yourself with any scholarships they may have available for you to apply to.

If you plan to change your major, please reach out to Kelly Zimmerman for undergraduate scholarships or Connor Williamson for accounting scholarships as soon as possible to see whether and how your scholarship will be affected.
 

I will be changing majors but still have a business minor. Am I still eligible for the scholarship?

Lundquist College scholarships are for business and accounting majors only. Unfortunately, a minor does not qualify you for a Lundquist College scholarship. As soon as you know you will be changing majors, we encourage you to reach out to the department of your new major and familiarize yourself with any scholarships they may have available for you to apply to.

I would like to thank the donor of this scholarship. How do I reach out?

Thank you for interest in thanking the donor! We appreciate your outreach and know that our donors do, too. We send out packets to donors once a year prior to the holidays, and will be reaching out to you in fall term with more information.

Scholarship Payment Policy

Standard Disbursement Schedule

Scholarships are typically disbursed in equal installments across the academic year: fall, winter, and spring terms. This aligns with the university's financial aid structure and ensures consistent support for students' ongoing academic expenses.

Off-Cycle Disbursement Requests

Students may request alternative disbursement schedules (for example, lump-sum payments or term-specific awards) under special circumstances such as early graduation (for example, graduating in winter instead of spring) or study abroad programs. These requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis. To request off-cycle disbursements, please email Kelly Zimmerman for undergraduate scholarships or Connor Williamson for accounting scholarships to request a review to confirm whether you are eligible.

All scholarship payments, including off-cycle disbursements, are tracked in a centralized location.

Corrections, Errors, and Reversals

The Lundquist College of Business reserves the right to correct or reverse any scholarship awards if the information provided is found to be inaccurate or if the student fails to maintain good academic standing. Additionally, students who change their major to one not offered by the Lundquist College of Business will become ineligible for continued funding under this award.

UO Financial Aid Notification

This award may have an effect on your overall financial aid package. We encourage you to reach out to the Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships to report this award and check how it may affect your other aid.
