The Lundquist College of Business is home to business administration, entrepreneurship, and sports business minors, as well a global business certificate program.
Many employers and graduate programs seek liberal arts or preprofessional majors who also have strong backgrounds in business. The Lundquist College has designed its minors to provide professional development for students of all majors. Business minors develop the knowledge and organizational skills necessary for effective leadership in their future professions.
It is possible to earn more than one minor within the Lundquist College of Business. However, for students earning more than one business-related minor, no more than three courses can be used to satisfy multiple business minors. Please see an advisor for more details.
The minor in business administration is intended for students majoring in other disciplines who want a solid introduction to business management.
The entrepreneurship minor gives students the opportunity to envision, develop, test, and build a for-profit or nonprofit venture working within an interdisciplinary framework of exploration and self-discovery.
The sports business minor develops skills in teamwork, writing, and oral communications in order for students to succeed in the sports industry.
The sustainable business minor teaches students how to use the power of business for good, finding better ways to make the world better for everyone.
