Youth Movement--a free, annual outdoor field event that promotes active, motivated, and connected Native American communities--was first created by UO students in the Warsaw Sports Business Club in 2011.
"I had all these ideas for starting my own business, but I didn’t know how to make it happen. On the very first day I walked into the Lundquist Center for Entrepreneurship, they said, 'You need to run with this and we have all these people here that can help you.'"
"It’s not every day that you get to start a business while still in college. But that is exactly what I was encouraged to do. It has been an amazing journey."
"The Lundquist College of Business gave me hands-on experience working with a professional client outside of schoolwork. That really made my résumé stand out."
"It’s that encouragement to go out and try new things and to really build that foundation for lifelong learning and lifelong relationships. I think that’s very hard to find. I found it at the Lundquist College of Business."
"The combination of classes, connections to people in the business community, and the opportunity to participate in internships set me up for success when I graduated."
