Oregon Innovation Challenge

As the Lundquist Center for Entrepreneurship's flagship program, the Oregon Innovation Challenge serves as the primary platform for all student-led projects and ventures at the University of Oregon.

Ask yourself: "Why not me?" If you have a business or product idea, the Oregon Innovation Challenge is your opportunity to work toward making it happen.

Open to all University of Oregon students, regardless of major or class standing, the Oregon Innovation Challenge welcomes students no matter the stage of their venture—from idea to emerging to currently in business.

Entrepreneurs are more likely to persist in meeting their goals with community support. The Oregon Innovation Challenge provides that community by bringing together peers and mentors who are ready to both challenge and encourage participants, creating an environment where students can build things, take risks, and learn from failures.

During the twelve-week program, students participate in workshops, have access to office hours with Lundquist Center for Entrepreneurship staff, and get time with alumni mentors. Teams selected for funding at the end of the initial twelve-week program receive grant funding toward their ventures, and must commit to join an eight-week summer fellowship cohort, which includes further mentorship and training.
