Biography:
Michael Dore was founder and president of the Los Angeles-based Gaunt-Dore-Snyder Advertising Agency for seventeen years. He developed many advertising and promotional campaigns for both local and national accounts. Before starting the agency, he worked in marketing management and marketing research at Buckeye International and Carnation Co. (now Nestlé).
Before joining the Lundquist College of Business, he taught at the University of Southern California for fifteen years and received several teaching awards. At the time, he was the only two-time winner of the Golden Apple Teaching Award given for teaching excellence at the University of Southern California business school. At UO he has won numerous teaching and service awards.
