Biography:
Shari Balouchi (she/her) leads the marketing and communications efforts for current undergraduate and graduate students at the Lundquist College of Business in Eugene and Portland. Her role is focused on coordinating all communications, in an effective and inclusive manner, so that Lundquist College students can connect with the people and opportunities that will help them succeed.
Prior to joining the staff in September 2023, Balouchi began her professional career in the nonprofit sector, managing communications strategies and executing fundraising events. She brings more than 10 years of experience to her role, most recently working as a marketing strategist and business consultant for impact-driven organizations internationally. She's done a little bit of everything—from website design, branding, and copywriting to social media strategy and PR—and oscillates between strategizing the big picture while also keeping track of the finer details.
Balouchi is a foodie through and through, loves to listen to different styles of music, and has even discovered an asteroid or two. She values bringing both excellence and humanness to her work so that more people can create their versions of success while being well-resourced inside and out.
