Stepping Up: 2018 Faculty Promotions

In preparation for the upcoming 2018-2019 school year, the Lundquist College of Business is proud to announce its upcoming faculty promotions and named appointments. The majority of these changes will take place at the beginning of the new school year in September.

The following individuals have received promotions:

Ali Emami promoted to senior instructor II
Josh Gordon promoted to senior instructor I
Youchang Wu promoted to associate professor with indefinite tenure
Nagesh Murthy promoted to full professor
Michael Pangburn promoted to full professor

The following individuals have been appointed to professorships and chairs:

Michael Pangburn has been named the Ehrman V. Giustina Professor
Nagesh Murthy has been named the Roger Engemann Professor
Bettina Cornwell has been named the Judy and Hugh Oliphant Chair in Sports Business
Andrew Nelson has been appointed the Randall C. Papé Chair in Entrepreneurship and Innovation

The following individuals were selected for two-year named appointments as named research scholars:

Stephen McKeon has been named the Inman Research Scholar
Brandon Julio has been named the Inman Research Scholar
Kyle Peterson has been named the James F. and Shirley J. Rippey Research Scholar
Zhibin (Ben) Yang has been named the James F. and Shirley J. Rippey Research Scholar
Hong Yuan has been named the Robert P. Booth Associate Professor and Research Scholar
Anne Parmigiani has been named the Tykeson Associate Professor and Research Scholar
David Wagner has been named the Doug McKay Research Scholar
Jiao Zhang has been named the Doug McKay Research Scholar
Eren Çil has been named the Robert J. and Leona M. DeArmond Research Scholar
Nicole Bastian Johnson has been named the Robert J. and Leona M. DeArmond Research Scholar
Youchang Wu has been named the John B. Rogers Research Scholar

The following individuals were selected for two-year named appointments as Distinguished Senior Instructor II:

Robin Clement has been named the Robert and Lois Braddock Distinguished Senior Instructor II
Beth Hjelm has been named the Edwin E. and June Woldt Cone Senior Instructor II
Ali Emami has been named the Bashaw Senior Instructor II
Michele Henney has been named the Bashaw Senior Instructor II
Chuck Kalnbach has been named the Thomas E. Wildish Distinguished Senior Instructor II
