Duck Tank

We kicked off the school year with Duck Tank, an investment pitching competition modeled on television's Shark Tank and inspired by Ed Warnock's New Venture Planning course. Three teams of Oregon Executive MBA alumni and current students pitched their best business ideas before a panel of experienced business owners and investors.

Congratulations to Ross Taylor, MBA '18, and his startup Proud Label for their win at the inaugural Duck Tank.

Women in Business

In honor of Women's History Month, the Oregon Executive MBA Alumni Board created a fun and interactive evening of small group discussions and meaningful connections. The women in attendance covered a wide range of topics facing all of us in our businesses today.

The alumni board hopes this event will be a springboard to developing an Oregon Executive MBA Women in Business Network.

Trends in Digital Marketing

A panel of experts from Nike, Cambia, and Cisco came through with one of the most insightful presentations of the year. Omni-channel marketing techniques, automation breakthroughs, and digital marketing best practices were covered with a level of expertise rarely seen outside of global marketing summits.

Behind the Brew

Beer, whiskey, Rogue Ales & Spirits President Dharma Tamm sharing industry secrets—it was an event worth spending a couple of hours of your Saturday attending. Tamm led the group through a history of Rogue via the beers themselves, demonstrating both the history and progress of the company and its product.
