#17 in the world. #1 on the West Coast. Those are the latest marks earned by the Warsaw Sports Business Center and the Oregon MBA at the University of Oregon's Lundquist College of Business in the SportBusiness Postgraduate Course Rankings.
The ranking reflects a program built on access to industry, an engaged alumni network, and an emphasis on experiential learning. Oregon’s MBA students specializing in sports business have opportunities to turn coursework into practice well before graduation. Many work alongside Oregon Athletics throughout their time in Eugene, partnering with D1 and club sports teams—including Oregon Football and Basketball—and supporting student-athletes with their name, image, and likeness opportunities through Oregon Accelerator.
"Our students learn the business of sport from the people running it," said Lauren Anderson, director of the Warsaw Sports Business Center. "Between our local and international industry partners, an alumni network that actually answers the phone, and opportunities on campus with Oregon Athletics, students get a level of access that's hard to replicate anywhere else. This ranking is a reflection of that network as much as it is of our classrooms."
Oregon MBA alumni reported the second-highest average salary of any program in the rankings at $124,016, with more than 93 percent employed within a year of graduation. Since 2019, the top employers of the Warsaw Center’s sports business MBA graduates have been The Team (formerly Wasserman), L.A.B. Golf, Learfield, Genesco Sports Enterprises, Nike, and adidas. Our alumni hold roles globally across all functions with teams and leagues, at brands, and with agencies.
"Between years one and two, I was a creative strategy intern with The Team in Los Angeles, where I developed brand strategy and creative campaign concepts for clients," said Cami Wilson, MBA ‘25, who now works full-time as a creative strategist for the agency in New York City. "The program had already put me in rooms with executives and given me live projects with athletes and partners, so I wasn't starting from scratch. That's the difference Oregon makes."
Applications for fall 2027 entry to the Oregon MBA are open from September 1, 2026, through July 23, 2027.
