Vrooom! Four Warsaw Sports Business Club members zoomed to success in the club's first-ever entry in the NASCAR Kinetics: Marketing in Motion case competition. Team members Everett Gallaway, Alex Dubov, Kane Bickford, and Tyler Elliott broke away from the competition early on, when their case study for NASCAR sponsor Fathead, the wall decal maker, took first place in the field of eighteen. Entering the competition's second lap, the undergrads maintained their lead, once again nabbing the top spot with their ideas for increasing the value of outdoor retailer Camping World's sponsorship of the NASCAR Truck Series. In part three of the challenge, the team hosted a viewing party for Kansas City Speedway's STP 400 race, and roared to third place--just 1.86 points behind the first place winners in the closely contested race.
