Four major employers and more than thirty students came together to meet for company presentations and networking at the Career Services Employer Showcase event this February. Yahoo Senior Creative Strategist Laken Franz commented on the evening, saying “My teammate Anthony and I really enjoyed presenting and we received some great questions and follow-up from the students. We will definitely be back."
Yahoo joined Alsco, Spirit Leather Works, and Liberty Mutual to provide information on job and advancement opportunities and an inside look at what it is like to work for their companies. The employer representatives entertained students in lively interactions after the event and exchanged contact info for future communication—and possible job and internship offers.
