A Top Pick for Sports Business Careers

The University of Oregon and its Warsaw Sports Marketing Center at the Lundquist College of Business is a great investment for those who wish to work in the business of sport, with alumni earning the second-best average salary worldwide according to the 2021 SportBusiness Postgraduate Course Rankings.

SportBusiness is a global news and data provider for the sports sector and produces the list annually.

The Lundquist College’s Warsaw Center is also highly regarded among competitor programs appearing at #4 on the worldwide peer survey.

Additionally, the UO program ranked #6 in North America and #7 worldwide for sport business overall.

Recent alumni and course leaders completed two surveys to establish the SportBusiness rankings. Measures include quality of teaching, in-industry job search support, extra-curricular support, alumni networking, industry networking, value, employment status, and salary, among other metrics.

“We see every day how the Lundquist College and the Warsaw Center bring value to the lives of students and alumni,” said T. Bettina Cornwell, Warsaw Sports Marketing Center academic director and Philip H. Knight Chair. “Seeing both peer institutions and alumni agree with this assessment is heartening and motivating. We will continue to deliver the experiential learning opportunities and peerless alumni connections that are hallmarks of the program to the next generation of sports business leaders.”
