About

Biography:

Emily Moore is the academic director of the Master of Science in Management program at the Lundquist College of Business. She teaches undergraduate and graduate classes on leadership, communication, sustainable business, and cross-cultural negotiation. She has guest lectured on classroom effectiveness, effective presentations, negotiation fundamentals, and special considerations for women in negotiation.  She has also given workshops on team formation and high-performing teams, and recently began using her conflict resolution background to assist colleagues working in math and STEM fields who want to bring mentoring and inclusion into those spaces. Moore's interest and research areas include high-performing teams, team formation, conflict resolution, and negotiation. She earned her MS in Conflict and Dispute Resolution from the University of Oregon School of Law and previously worked as an occupational therapist and in health care administration. She continues to own and operate medical and surgical centers. She and her husband have two daughters and love giving back to the community. They are involved with many local charities, including Boys & Girls Club of Emerald Valley, Willamette Family, and Bridgeway House. Her hobbies include going to concerts, traveling, and doing the NYT crossword puzzle every day.
