About

Biography:

Collette Niland has more than twenty years of experience in undergraduate affairs. After earning her doctorate in political science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, she worked at several top research institutions including UW-Madison, UCLA and, most recently, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. At Illinois, Niland was the assistant dean for undergraduate affairs in the College of Business. Niland has a strong interest in experiential learning and social entrepreneurship and founded The Social Entrepreneurship Institute while at the University of Illinois.
