Biography:
As senior director of strategic communications, Engelhardt has responsibility for conceptualizing, developing, coordinating, and producing an array of print and web communications as well as formulating, guiding, and implementing the college's branding and marketing strategies. His professional background includes web design and development, magazine publishing, advertising, marketing, and journalism.
Before joining the UO Lundquist College of Business in 2005, Engelhardt served as the managing editor for Geospatial Solutions and GeoIntelligence, business-to-business publications addressing GIS and GPS technologies. He led those magazines' online efforts and was instrumental in a rebranding that led to revenue increases of 20-30 percent, year over year, for three years. He has also worked as a freelance writer and designer, reporting for conference newspapers and newsletters, creating and designing websites, and developing advertisements and marketing materials for companies large and small.
He and his wife Terri have lived in Eugene since 1995. They have twin daughters.
