Step Three: Purchase (or Borrow) Regalia

A master's graduate gown, mortar board, tassel, and hood are required. Announcements, caps, gowns, and other graduation must-haves can be purchased at the UO Duck Store. For information about loaner regalia, email lcbgradadvising@uoregon.edu for various resources around campus.
Step Four: Request Accommodations (Optional)
If you or your guests require any accommodations during the ceremony (i.e. mobility concerns or need for an interpreter), please contact Jessica Brown at jdbb@uoregon.edu right away. Matthew Knight Arena has plenty of ADA seating available for guests and the ceremony will use closed captioning.
Step Five: Complete the First Destination Survey
Deadline: June 15
Whether you have a job or are still exploring your options, complete your First Destination survey by June 15. If you don't yet have a post-graduation plan, we can help! Schedule a meeting with Mohr Career Services to help maximize your opportunities.
Step Six: Attend the Ceremony
Stay tuned for specific day of ceremony instructions. Graduates should plan to block out their morning from 8:30 a.m. until the commencement ceremony begins at 10:00 a.m. for photography and rehearsal.
Step Seven: Receive Your Diploma
The dean will hand you an empty diploma cover during the ceremony, but don’t worry—you will receive your official diploma in the mail about six weeks after you complete your degree requirements.
