Describe your current position and role.
I'm currently an account director at IDL Worldwide, a consumer experience design firm specializing in retail store design and displays. I oversee a team of account managers, project managers, and designers that are concentrated on key accounts. A large part of my team focuses on providing the direct interaction of consumer and brand for Nike.
How has your Warsaw Center experience shaped your professional career?
My time at the Warsaw Center was instrumental in allowing me to break into the sports industry. The opportunities I've had throughout my career would not have been possible without the center's resources.
What key business trends are you following right now?
I pay particular attention to the consumer retail sector and the evolution of digital being brought into the physical space.
What is your favorite social media platform for personal use and what social media platform do you prefer for business purposes?
To be honest, I'm terrible with social media and try to stay off it. I do read Fast Company religiously and listen to a ton of podcasts. Tim Ferris is one of my current favorites for business-related topics.
What do you miss most about Eugene?
Running Pre's trail is certainly one of my favorite things to do in Eugene. I always make sure to get a run in when I'm back in town.
