Quinn Van Horne
Quinn Van Horne worked in fan experience for UO Athletics’ marketing department, where he and his fellow interns helped execute in-game promotions during games—including honoring guest coaches, coordinating the team’s entrance (featuring a Harley-riding Duck!), shooting the t-shirt cannon, and more.
“Learning from the best marketing team in college athletics has taught me a lot—understanding marketing strategy, how to work with the many different organizations and sections within the Oregon Athletics department, and knowing how to operate massive sporting events with 56,000 fans and millions watching at home. My biggest takeaway from this experience has been seeing the smiles on the faces of fans and knowing that the work that you have done helps lead to that incredible experience at Oregon games. In the end, if fans enjoy the game and have a great time, that's a win for me.”
