We remember Leona DeArmond—music alumna, friend of the Lundquist College, and dedicated Duck. She died September 5 at the age of 88.
Leona and her husband Robert, who is a 1952 business graduate and who survives her, have supported a wide range of programs and initiatives on campus. At the Lundquist College, they named the Robert and Leona DeArmond Classroom, and have generously established an endowment fund for scholarships. Leona was deeply engaged with our students, and was passionate about helping them achieve their academic potential. Her legacy will continue to support our talented students in perpetuity.
