The Oregon Executive MBA program has a well-earned reputation for producing outstanding graduates who are leaders in their chosen fields. Now, those alumni have a new way to remain in touch with each other following graduation because the University of Oregon Alumni Association (UOAA) has added the Oregon Executive MBA to its ever-expanding lineup of chapters, professional groups, and cultural and affinity groups.
“We're eager to continue the experiences we had at the Oregon Executive MBA beyond graduation," said Matt Howard, director of the Oregon Executive MBA chapter. “We're with the same group of thirty to forty people for two years, and lifelong relationships come out of that. You miss that when the program's over, so we wanted to get an alumni association together to continue that."
Along with receiving all of the rewards that come with UOAA membership, Oregon Executive MBA alumni also receive the program's newsletter as well as invitations to the chapter's Speakership Series events.
In addition to alumni having a new home at the UOAA, the executive MBA program itself will have a new home in Portland, too. Ground was recently broken on a new facility in Portland's Old Town Chinatown neighborhood (see artist rendering, above), which, when completed, will house the program in a new, LEED-certified, setting.
