Registration Open for Sports Product Executive Program

Our industry-leading Sports Product Management program is now offering an executive education in Sports Product Leadership.

The inaugural course will take place from June 4 to June 29, 2018, at the UO Lundquist College of Business—Portland and takes on themes from the highest levels of our first-of-its-kind 18-month Master of Science program.

The intensive, four-week executive education series focuses on the complete product life cycle, including innovation, sustainability, merchandising, e-commerce, brand marketing, and leadership. Each week features a complete, standalone learning module, and students may enroll in a single week, several sessions, or all four weeks.

The series launches with a week devoted to consumer insights and branding. Week 2 is all about product excellence—from concept to execution—and includes use of the program's state-of-the-art Innovation Lab. Supply chain, sustainability, and using data to form business strategies make up Week 3's speed-to-market theme, and Week 4 takes on the global marketplace.

Course curriculum is designed for experienced sports product industry professionals looking to accelerate their product management and leadership skills through a combination of instruction, classroom discussion, and hands-on projects.

Class size is small—20-30 professionals from companies around the world—and instructors are international leaders in their respective fields.

“Leaders looking to accelerate their management and improve team function with a cross-cultural, strategy-based program are invited to join us in Portland," said Ellen Schmidt-Devlin, cofounder and executive director of the Sports Product Management program. “You will be in the heart of the action, being taught by industry experts at the top of their game, while sharing and absorbing peer insights."

You can earn your certificate of completion in sports product leadership in just four weeks this summer in Portland or sharpen your skills with one week of training and coaching in a specific area of learning. For more information call 503-412-3777 or email uospm@uoregon.edu.
