To arrive by airplane, you may fly into the Portland International Airport. Carriers include Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Delta, Southwest Airlines, United Airlines, and others. Portland's TriMet transit system offers light rail service, MAX, between the airport and downtown.
Direction from the Portland Airport
Take NE Airport Way to I-205 South. Take Exit 21B onto I-84 West toward Portland. Merge from I-84 onto I-5 South toward City Center. Keep right to take Morrison St. over Morrision Bridge. Turn right on SW 2nd Ave. Then turn right on NW Davis St., which runs in NW Naito. Continue half a block to 109 NW Naito.
Directions from I-5 Southbound
Take exit 305B from I-5 South toward City Center. Keep right to take Morrison St. over Morrision Bridge. Turn right on SW 2nd Ave. Then turn right on NW Davis St., which runs in NW Naito. Continue half a block to 109 NW Naito.
Directions from 1-5 Northbound
Take exit 229B. Use the left two lanes to exit toward City Center. Continue onto SW Harbor Dr. Use the right two lanes to turn right onto SW Naito Pkwy. Continue approximately 1 mile to 109 NW Naito Pkwy.
Public Transportation
Two MAX stops, serviced by the Red and Blue lines, are located within one block of 109 NW Naito:
- Old Town/Chinatown stop at NW 1st and Davis—Southbound stop ID 8378; Northbound stop ID 8339
- Skidmore Fountain stop at 1st and Burnside—Southbound stop ID 8379; Northbound stop ID 8338
These are the first two stops on the west side of the Willamette River. Visit the TriMet website for a map of the MAX system or to plan your trip. Riders can transfer between all lines at Pioneer Courthouse.
Many bus lines also connect with MAX Light Rail and provide frequent service (every 15 minutes). There are several bus lines that stop within 1–4 blocks of 109 NW Naito, including #4, #8, #12, #16, #19, #20, #35, #44, #72, and #77.
Bicycle Storage
Bicycle storage is available to building faculty, staff, students, and workshop/event participants in the basement of the White Stag Block. To access bicycle storage, cyclists must first check in with the White Stag Block receptionist, located at the main Couch Street entrance.
