Lorena Landeros is the assistant director for first-year experience in the the Office of Advising and Student Experience in the Lundquist College of Business, where she supports students' academic goals. Landeros is also the program coordinator for the Business Academic Residential Community, supporting more than 150 students in Justice Bean Hall as they develop their long term goals, providing a bridge between the college and the residential community using its LEAD pillars: leadership, academic achievement, empowerment, and diversity and inclusion. This is done through in-person advising, events focused on degree exploration, and the development of a year-long academic component.
In her "spare" time, Landeros serves on various committees on campus, focusing on supporting underrepresented and underserved students, including the Latinx Strategies Group and the Dreamers Working Group. She is also a stakeholder for the Latinx Scholars Academic Residential Community.
Landeros joined the Lundquist College of Business in 2016. Prior to joining the advising team, she worked in the UO's Office of Admissions, working to recruit prospective ducks from Oregon, the Pacific Northwest, and abroad in Mexico.
